De Wolf & Partners reinforces its IP, IT and TMT practice with Raphael Bailly

Raphael Bailly joins De Wolf & Partners as partner in the Brussels office, to expand and develop De Wolf & Partners IP, IT & TMT firmwide practice.

Raphael made the move from Capgemini, a top-tier French multinational, where he was General Counsel BeLux then General Counsel Australia with an Asia Pacific and Middle East active role. At Capgemini, Raphael successfully advised the businesses in BeLux, Australia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Vietnam, and the Philippines and helped set up subsidiaries throughout South East Asia.

Raphael started his legal career at international law firm Bird & Bird, where he worked on international deals in Brussels, London and Paris. Based in Brussels, he developed a strong litigation and commercial law expertise, particularly in Belgian and French data protection, intellectual property, corporate and telecoms legislation. He has also a strong experience in online and mobile payments, e-signatures and e-invoicing regulations. He regularly handled negotiations with Belgian and European regulatory authorities.

During his 15 year career Raphael ran multi-jurisdictional, high value technology and outsourcing deals.
