Directive 2014/104/EU on certain rules governing actions for damages under national law for infringements of the competition law ("Directive") needs to be implemented in the EU member legal systems by 27 December 2016. The implementation process is at different stages in each relevant jurisdiction.
This conference aims to tackle key challenges of Directive implementation. Let us discuss and exchange thoughts on what is really happening at half time. Essentially there are two parts of the conference.
First part would be a walk through Directive essentials with some examples of implementation (likely in more advanced jurisdictions).
The second part would be to go over status and prospects of implementation in most if not all of EU 28 in form of round table.
