Van Bael & Bellis elects two new partners.

Van Bael & Bellis is pleased to announce the election of Richard Burton and Pablo Muñiz to the partnership.
Richard and Pablo both joined Van Bael & Bellis in 2001.
Richard specialises in EU and UK competition law. Richard advises on a wide variety of competition law matters including cartel investigations, distribution agreements, merger control, pricing and other abuse of dominance issues, cooperation agreements, intellectual property licensing, and state aid. He also advises on regulatory issues affecting the aviation sector.
Pablo specialises in EU trade law with a particular emphasis on EU customs law, including customs classification, origin issues and customs valuation. His experience also includes advising on repayment and remission procedures, duty suspensions and customs procedures. He regularly advises clients on multi-jurisdictional customs matters involving the European Commission, OLAF, the WCO and national customs administrations. He also has extensive experience of litigation before the European Courts and before national courts as well as with WTO dispute settlement proceedings.
