Avisa Partners welcomes Pablo Asbo

22 March, 2011 Pablo Asbo joins AVISA Partners after six years in DG Competition, the last three years of which was as a case handler in the merger unit dealing with some of the following sectors: energy, environment, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, transport, food, and basic industries. He was also involved in infringement procedures against Member States. Prior to this, he worked for 3 years in the antitrust unit in the telecoms and postal sectors, dealing with Member States notifications of regulatory measures.
Pablo is a qualified lawyer and has a Master Degree in European Law. He has previous experience as legal adviser with British Telecom in Brussels.
