Denis-Emmanuel Philippe joins DLA Piper'sTax practice in Brussels

24 April, 2011 DLA Piper has announced that Denis-Emmanuel Philippe has joined the firm's Tax practice in the Brussels office. Denis-Emmanuel has over 8 years of experience as a Belgian and Luxembourg tax specialist. He will particularly develop the Luxembourg tax practice, which will focus on advising multinationals and collective investment funds on a wide range of tax matters, including holding and financing structures, tax treaty application, fund taxation, mergers and acquisitions, VAT on financial services, etc.
Denis-Emmanuel joins DLA Piper from the Benelux tax boutique Loyens & Loeff. Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff in 2007, Denis-Emmanuel worked as a lawyer within the tax department of two Magic circle law firms. Denis-Emmanuel is an associate Professor at the University of Liege, where he teaches financial tax law.
