Salans Promotes Four New Partners

International law firm Salans has promoted four lawyers to partner in 2012.

Mike Danielewsky is a member of Salans’ Banking & Finance and Restructuring, Reorganisation & Insolvency (RRI) Practice Groups in the Frankfurt office. He specialises in debt capital markets, in particular debt restructuring, and has significant experience in real estate financing. Danielewsky is qualified both in Germany and in England. Chambers Global has described him as “one of the leaders in their field in Germany in 2011”.

Bernd Hanowski is also based in the Frankfurt office. He is a nationally known expert in litigation proceedings in banking and capital markets law and has considerable experience in consulting and representing banks in capital investment liability cases. He started his career at Linklaters in 2005, and in 2008 was part of the founding team at the opening of Salans’ office in Frankfurt. Hanowski holds a law degree from the University of Leipzig and is a certified specialist in banking and capital markets law.

Bogdan Evtimov is a recognised international trade lawyer and one of the most experienced competition lawyers in the Brussels office. He focuses on European Union (EU) law and often litigates before the EU Courts. His experience ranges from heavy industries to luxury goods and services. He also acquired unique experience in the agreements and practice of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), notably in the regulation of trade in goods and energy. Evtimov was admitted to the Bar in Bulgaria in 2002. He has an LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe, Bruges.

Cezary Przygodzki is a member of Salans’ Global Tax Practice Group in the Warsaw office. He is a licensed tax adviser specialising in tax planning and implementing Polish and international tax structures, tax optimisation and tax structuring of M&A transactions. He also works on transaction support and assistance with foreign investments in Poland, including tax incentives in special economic zones. He advises multinational corporations, investment funds and entrepreneurs in all relevant aspects of taxation. Cezary has also acted as a tax expert to the Polish Parliament and is a member of the executive board of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Tax Advisors Bar.
