Belgian-Luxembourgish law firm De Wolf & Partners has appointed Gerald Stevens as its new Managing Partner. His appointment, which took place during the last general assembly meeting, follows a period of restructuring at De Wolf and marks the beginning of its repositioning on both Belgian, and international, markets.
A Brussels and Luxembourg bar 'avocat' and visiting professor at UCL, Gerald Stevens - a corporate and finance law specialist - has developped a strong international M&A, as well as corporate finance & restructuring, practice. A founding partner of De Wolf, he also launched the firm's activities in Luxembourg, successfully transforming their partnership with Mosar law firm into a fully integrated and successful practice.
"De Wolf & Partners has turned a new page" says Gerald. "Recent partner departures provided a crucial opportunity for us to reassess our values and vision and encourage a younger generation of partners hungry to take De Wolf to the next level. De Wolf & Partners advises a series of European, American and Chinese clients. Whilst it prides itself on its position as a top Belgian-Luxembourgish firm, it also plans to reinforce its international offer in the near future.
Other board appointments include Patrick De Wolf as Senior Partner and Mrs Dominique Bogaert.
