Hogan Lovells announces new Brussels Office Managing Partner

26th October 2018

The firm's Brussels office serves a wide range of multinational companies, financial institutions, government agencies and regulatory authorities on antitrust, competition, regulatory and international trade law issues. The office comprises 24 lawyers, including five partners.

Since joining Hogan Lovells in Brussels last year Salomé has built a broad client base throughout the region and is renowned for her knowledge of all aspects of EU competition law. She works on EU and international transactions, which often raise complex cross-border issues or involve parallel investigations before regulatory authorities around the globe, and is also widely recognized for her experience and in-depth knowledge in consumer goods and services, TMT and life sciences. Salomé currently serves on the board of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) and is a Vice-Chair of Amcham EU's Competition Committee. She is the immediate past president of the Harvard Club of Belgium and a past member of the board and Vice-Chair of AmCham EU.

Salomé commented: "I am honored to be appointed as managing partner for Hogan Lovells' Brussels office. Our regulatory offer is key for global businesses doing business in Europe. Our team has an in-depth understanding of European law and regularly deals with challenging and business-critical legal issues which are of vital importance to our clients. We advise on some of the most complex and largest transactions and investigations globally, and I look forward to continuing to work with colleagues to build on our market leading position in Brussels and beyond."

Salomé takes the reins from Matthew Levitt, who has managed the Brussels office for the last three years.
